  • Design Lead for Buildbox World, a new mobile app the company was launching. I was there from conception to launch day, a process that took about 9 months. The team rarely reached more than 6 team members, so we all had to wear a lot of hats, some of mine including: art direction, product designer, and project manager.

  • Worked directly with full-stack engineers and web developers to mock up, prototype, iterate, and deploy various UI/UX solutions for Buildbox World mobile app, various websites for the company, and Buildbox game development software.

  • Provided graphics, illustrations, and art direction for all marketing, PR, and sales materials.

  • Regularly pitched ideas and team progress to the entire company during weekly All Hands meetings.

  • Designed logos, game screens, and UI elements for mobile games with varying styles

  • Continuously develop and maintain brand’s aesthetic standards and quality.

 

 

Sr. Graphic Designer

Portland, OR

  • Lead creative for the Portland Arts Guide. Fully responsible for the management, client relations, design, and print production of the bi-monthly magazine. This includes everything from working closely with the Managing Editor to conceptualize original editorial content to working directly with the print houses to ensure all steps are taken for the most efficient and effective print production process.

  • Designed custom playbills for several of Portland’s most successful theaters, while building and maintaining relationships with them.

 

 

Art Director (previously Sr. Graphic Designer)

August 2015 – July 2017
Istanbul, Turkey

  • Worked with CEO and management team to establish and prepare all necessary corporate marketing, HR, and PR materials.

  • Responsible for leading the creative direction of and approving all digital and print drafts of publications before posting / sending to press.

  • Laid out various types of spreads for international publications for around 30+ countries.

  • Created effective design solutions for better storytelling (illustrations, maps, infographics).

  • Liaised with Country Managers from all over the world to manage, create, and revise all contracted advertising artworks for major international brands.

  • Collaborated with the Creative Director to set up thorough systems and processes for high quality and quantity creative production.

  • Worked directly with Warner Home Entertainment Creative Services to produce digital campaigns for domestic and international television and film. Assets included but not limited to: key art, display art, online banners, title treatments, and promotional materials

 

 

Graphic Design Intern

Accra, Ghana

  • Strategized and designed print ads for Brand Ghana, the country’s first nation-branding campaign. Pitched ideas to (the now late) President John Atta Mills’ team, along with Ghana’s Minister of Education and Minister of Tourism.
